The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures has presented a bill for public discussions which suggests allocation of funding from the reserve fund for solving the housing issue of families who were forcefully displaced from Azerbaijan in 1988-1992.
The bill has been published online at e-draft.am.
If passed, the law will come into effect gradually. The first phase will cover 108 families from five districts in Yerevan. Other families will be enabled to benefit from the law in the next phases.
The beneficiary families currently reside in temporary housing facilities.
